Media Licences are as follows: Standard Video
The standard licence covers online and social media usage. This would include YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, Instagram etc. It is a licence for one project but would cover multiple language versions if the length of the programme and the shots are the same. For different projects or re-versioning please take out another licence. It does not cover broadcast or feature films. Time period is valid for 2 years.
Add-on Video Licence
The add on licence is for projects that are re-versioned so instead of buying a licence for each cut you can have a blanket licence. This covers multiple versions, broadcast use, add on channels such as terrestrial, Netflix, Prime etc. unlimited time (saves re-licensing). This also means that if you have a standard licence (which is part of your item fee) you can extend it afterwards if recuts or additional channels commission the programme.
Standard Photo Licence
This licence is for any online/computer use campaign or project such as banner, website, powerpoint, social media and is included in the item fee. Valid for 2 years.
Add-on Photographic Licence
The add on licence covers multiple uses within a campaign (such as posters, print, newsletters, video for broadcast use) add on channels such as terrestrial, Netflix, Prime etc. unlimited time (saves re-licensing). This also means that if you have a standard licence (which is part of your item fee) you can extend it afterwards if multiple uses or additional channels commission the programme.
