Music Video – Ideals

This is one of my favourite Music Video. Produced by Activideo Communications and Directed by Mark Gill.

All shot in Manchester on location and in the cellars of the now burnt down Hotspur House building.

The narrative sequences were shot at the Palace Hotel and the Radisson Edwardian.

It was shot on a Canon 5 D, what a classic camera that was. One of the first DSLRs to give full Frame video. Even after all these years I love the look and the track. I used vignettes to make the cellar vibe even more moody and isolating the band.
